Hi guys,
Two days ago i was browsing the internet on my desktop PC that I bought 5 years ago. Suddenly the computer stopped displaying what was on the screen and instead showed vertical black and white stripes. The fans of the computer were still spinning but i could hear no sounds through my headphones.
I restarted the computer to see if it was just a once off problem. When i turned the computer back on the BIOS screen displayed two large transparent blue vertical stripes over the top. When the computer would normally display the windows startup screen it instead showed a black screen. I couldn't hear the windows startup noise.
The computer is running a SSD.
I am looking to replace the part which is causing the problem, do you guys have any suggestions? I can record a video of what happens when i turn on the computer if it is of any help.
