So my friend asked me to build him a pc for around 700euro with monitor, got pretty much everything but i cant decide which cpu should i go with. I was thinking about fx-8350 but now after seeing some videos i have my doubts and want to go with i3 6100 which is cheaper and delivers same or even better performance. He's going to use this pc mainly for gaming, no overcloking will be done (my friend doesnt really know anything about pc's) so i need a good cpu with around 180-200$ pricetag.
Other parts:
GPU R9 380
Corsair 600watt power supply.
1 TB hard drive
CPU-undecided
motherboard-depends on cpu.

Tbh I don't know where you got that an I3 is better than an FX 8350, I know AMD aren't great compared to the Intel CPU's but I would have said an fx 8350 would out perform an I3, your best bet would be an i5 possibly the 4960k, I have it and it runs like a beast. i5 is in my opinion the best bang for the buck for gaming as i3 is a bit weak and i7 is just overpowered. however 8350's are good, they just get hot and draw a lot of power, and that r9 380 is the same.

If he doesn't plan to overclock then this would be your best bet. Just threw in the motherboard since i did a build with it a while back and its a fantastic value for under $50.
