Hello, I recently built a PC and I was wondering if you guys could help me swap out some parts so that my PC becomes more quiet. At the moment the corsair 100iGTX has two SP120 Corsair fans(quiet edition) but they make a lot of noise and make a buzzing sound, the radiator also creates some noise. My HDD also makes a lot of noise. If you could help me by recommending better/quieter components I will greatly appreciate it thank you.

Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K
CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H100i 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler (With two SP120 Quiet Edition Fans)
Motherboard: MSI Z170A Krait Gaming 3X Motherboard
Graphics: MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming 8GB
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury HX421C14FB2K2/16 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 Black
Solid State Drive: Samsung 850 EVO Series 250GB 2.5in SSD
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Chassis Black (Still using the stock rear 140mm fan and front 200mm fan, and they are more quiet then the SP120s)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 Gold 650W Power Supply

Corsair fans aren't the best and they're only high-end in price (which covers the marketing (being on the front page), packaging, and service). I think they're known to be sleeved bearing, meaning that it could be louder (via whining) when laid horizontally.

You could try Noctua fans. They're the quietest on the market. Try the redux product line if you want to save cash. Also 140mm fans are generally quieter than 120 mm fans.

Another suggestion to lower noise is to eliminate your hdd with only SSDs ;p. Probably not practical but some people do that. Also seagate is loud (no offense, i've owned every brand of hard drive). Try western digital black - slightly...

People also use sound dampening foam.

Lastly, another thing you can try is to put the computer in another room, drill a hole to insert cables / connections to the other side to your computer desk. That could reduce noise significantly. LOL

In regards to the H100i GTX noise, have you installed corsair link? Using this software you can turn the pump into quiet mode aswell as the fans which reduces RPM's leading to less noise.

Another thing which is a mistake I made, if you have plugged the fans into the block itself, make sure they are PWM (4 pin) so the software can actually control it, if they are 3 pin and are connected to the block, they will virtually run at high RPM's all the time and cannot be controlled making them louder.
