They may use the same parts internally. You will see no significant differences between the two.

Iv yet to have any issues and it's been running for about 3 years now. We play several on line games such as league of legends and battlefield.

The switch you use will probably never make any difference in your gaming unless it's faulty. Lag and packetloss is almost always caused by a lack of bandwidth not low quality devices, except in the case of wifi or poorly ran copper.

Assuming you can't change your ISP, the nest biggest thing you can control is your router/firewall. High end ones typically support traffic shaping or QoS. There are hundreds of types of QoS and traffic shaping and only a few are any good. If you really care about this, then you need to do some research because most QoS is snake-oil.
