hello everyone, i have 8 gb ram ( Hyundai electronics 4x2 gb ) and i don't know how much frequency they have, and my motherboard has 4 ram slots, so i want to buy hyper x 8x2 gb so my ram will become: 8 , 8 , 4 , 4 = 24 gb ram
it says on my motherboard page: Support for DDR3 2800(OC)/1600/1333/1066 MHz memory modules
Motherboard: Z77X-D3H
CPU: Intel Core-I7 2700K
but can i use 2 brands? i mean can i get hyper x and use it with my old ram ( Hyundai electronics ) ?
but as i said i don't know if i should buy hyperx with 1600mhz or 1866mhz because i don't know how much frequency my old ram has
