My PC Does Not Recognize That I Have An MSI GTX 1070 8G Gaming

I love my graphics card and it doesn't give me any other problems or issues, but I want to change the RGB lights on the side for my system to look nice. But to do that, you need to download the MSI Gaming App. Which I did. About four times. Because every single time I try to open the app all I get is a simple white box that tells me "The Platform is Not Supported." Which doesn't make any sense as I have BOTH an MSI graphics card, AND an MSI motherboard (I know that the motherboard isn't required to be an MSI product though)! I had even checked the compatibility notes and saw that both my graphics card and my motherboard were both featured on it. This is where it gets weird. I had tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Gaming App many times over the course of a week and found that nothing changed. I had even uninstalled and reinstalled my graphics drivers from Nvidia's website to see if that affected anything. Nothing. But then I spotted an interesting response from a thread on PCPARTPICKER's forums that said that you should check GPU-Z to see if the PC recognizes it as an MSI product under the subvendor category. I checked it, and sure enough it said "Undefined (0000)" (here is a screenshot https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6QADow9jYIDQnpIckNON1Z1Ujg/view?usp=sharing). The lit up dragon logo is actually lit though, as I just can't change the color. Any response to the thread is appreciated.

Have you tried reseating the card?

To do this, power down the tower, unplug it, press and hold the power button for three seconds to drain any remaining power (to protect the card from ESD), and take the card out and put it back in.

If you notice any corrosion on the PCIe connector, please do refrain from using commercial anti corrosion sprays and wipes. If there's corrosion, please use a paper towel and a dab of rubbing alcohol. Make sure the connector is dry and there are no paper fibers stuck to it before re-inserting it.

If it really comes down to it though I won't RMA my card or whatever just to be able to change the color. I would like to find a strictly software based solution (or something that doesn't require me to replace my card or buy some other device).

Also, my PCI-Lane is perfectly fine as the board itself is only one year old (I also don't treat my components like crap, I'm sure to ground myself before handling components, I make sure to do a good job cable-managing, and i clean out my PC regularly with canned air duster--or electronic cleaner depending on what you call it).

Presuming your W10 is upto date:
Install this: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775/Intel-Chipset-Device-Software-INF-Update-Utility-?product=1145
And this: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26136/Intel-Management-Engine-Driver-5M-for-Intel-NUC-Windows-7-and-8-1 (ignore taht it sais i'ts for a NUC)

After that, use DDU to clean your current display drivers: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
Then, install the latest From the Nvidia website.

If all thet doesn't help, upgrade your MB's BIOS.

If that doesn't help either, contact MSI and/or RMA the board.

OK well, i got another problem. This one is far worse than no OCing or lights too. I literally have no way to get any sound. If anyone thinks that they have a shot at fixing my issue, please tell me. If not, its a clean reinstall of Windows for me. Here is the link:http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-3166707/windows-kind-disable-playback-audio-devices.html
