Help with RAM speed with motherboard

Solution
When you install the DRAM it will go to the mobo's default of 2133. To run to full spec you'll want the latest BIOS, and will probably need a K model CPU. The (OC) means that an OC of the CPU may be required to run at full spec of the DRAM

It's located in the BIOS of ur motherboard (pretty much u can overclock here and do multiple other things) just search up how to enable XMP in ur motherboards bios.

I'm not sure but if it does it may work at a slower speed. I would just go with what msi says and be on the safe side.
