Hey there,

My Build:
GTX 960 OC 4GB
i5 4690K
8GB RAM
750W PSU (not from a mainstream company- possible problem?)
1TB HD

So in the recent months I have been experiencing strange fps drops in all games, especially noticable in Overwatch and League of Legends, in Overwatch dropping from 70 to around 30 and in League from 500+ to 100 which whilst nearly unnoticable, is very annoying. Not terribly computer savvy but understand most of the terms, would really appreciate any help you guys could give as to a reason for these fps drops. Will answer any questions asap :)

Best Regards

You can use MSI afterburner and monitor temps and cpu and gpu usage while gaming,so you can see is something overheating or maybe your cpu is hitting 100% usage,or your ram is maxing out. I know you have a powerfull pc but high cpu and ram usage can be caused by something running in backround or malwer

Ok I'll install MSI Afterburner and see if there is anything unusual whilst I'm playing games. In regards to malware, are there any free programs that will be able to scan my computer and find these? thanks

Malwarebytes is really popular
