Power keeps going out in my current building how will this effect my pc?

Lately the power keeps going off in my apartment building. I have bought a surge protector but it won't protect because apparently the electricity isn't grounded and now these power outages.
Main reason for making this I'm worried about my pc if there is anything I can buy to help protect it from frying all my components.

UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) is the only thing that can help in such cases. It has to have enough spare power to run computer for few minutes (less than 5) so it would let computer properly shut down in case of power loss to UPS. Most new ones have USB connection to computer to give it shutdown signal.
