I just recently built my desktop ,everything went fine . Im using a used hdd that was in a sercurity camera system a while ago. I really dont know what year my dad bought this but its a seagate barracuda 4gb i check the power adapters and sata cables. It looks fine and it doesnt make any sound. (my desktop makes weird sound like swords clashing against each other) but i really dont think thats the hdd but im not really sure. Um out of no where my desktop freezes when i try to run /download things on that hardware but when i try downloading it on my ssd it works perfectly fine.

I think your Barracuda is dying. Please back up anything on it and prepare to replace it.
As for the sound of swords clashing, please make sure that there are no cables and/or connectors caught in any fans.

Can you get the drive to work at all? If so, just move the files to another drive and hope that they're not already corrupt.
If not, then consider them lost unless you want to pay lots and lots for a data recovery service.
