new PC build after being without a PC for 8-9 years. Any help is appreciated. Here is my build:
I7 6700k
CPU cooler
MSi Z170A krait gaming 3x
Corsair 1000i PSU
RX 470 GPU
SAMSUNG 500gb SSD(primary for OS and a select few games)
WD 4 TB 5400rpm HDD(secondary for everything else)
Patriot Viper 16gb DDR4 2800mhz RAM
24x cd rom drive(just to install Windows 10, literally lol)
64bit Windows 10 Home
Corsair 760T full ATX tower

I will not be over clocking this except for RAM if I decide to even do that. Chose the CPU for single core 4.0 performance. With Hyper-Threading attached after that hence the i7 over i5 close cousin. Everything else will stay stock and if I decide to OC then I will be going with liquid cooled and some other fans.
I have the right components, I've done my homework for several months to know that much. My issue now that everything is in place is wiring. The diagrams and "how to" manuals explain little to literally nothing on how to wire it all up. And the MoBO came with a seperate bag of way too many cables. I just want to play some games. I have spent a week, a weekend and a half on this damn thing. Can someone please help end my suffering on how I am suppose to wire this properly and get to running so I can use it by tomorrow. I built my first PC, and my second, but that was so long ago a lot has changed and I can't identify or understand all the extra slots and bits my MoBO has in correlation to my components. I do not want to fry this thing. I shot well over my budget my $1,000 and really just want it working. That blasted monster sits in my living room waiting to be awakened and can send pics of literally everything to help with the cause. The 24(20+4)pin connector to the mother board is in. That's a no brainer. But the rest. Damn the rest. I can plug things in all day that look right and ruin everything. Lol looking to avoid that. If anyone can help I will send pics of EVERYTHING upon request. If you have some of the same components and get what I am saying, then please respond to help. Anything at this point is appreciated. This is my $2,800 man toy for World of Warships and more I direly need to have running. Thanks in advance genuinely.
