Hello everyone;

I'm struggling with a weird problem. 4 or 5 days ago PC weirdly frozen and HDD disappear. As a temporary solution, I unplug the power cable and plug it again a few times later.

But today, It did it again over an over again. Unplug & plug the cable solved it again but it keeps freezing. Than I reboot the PC but it stuck before the bios screen. So basically, PC is turning on (power in), after that, I might see the bios screen or I can't even see that. It is turning off (power cut) then 1 or 2 second later it automatically start again. And this is going infinitly.

So, I removed every piece on the motherboard (RAMs, GPU, HDD, DVDRom etc.) and tried again but nothing is changed.

Could you please help me? Thanks in advance.

It maybe a corrupt BIOS. That happened to me once when I updated the BIOS on the other PC here.

It kept looping on the post screen. Luckily it was an ASUS mobo, I was able to fix it by updating it to the previous BIOS

Whats the brand/model of your motherboard?

It is Gigabyte ga-z77. Rebooting is a little bit weird like I said. Its not keep rebooting. It lose the power, wait 1 or 2 second than get back power on. The time is variable.

Should isn't there no power loss during rebooting if it is a BIOS problem?

I don't have chance to borrow from someone. If I can be sure about that, I'll go and buy a new one. If PSU problems causes the freeze on the PC and if BIOS and Motherboard problems won't cause a weird power loss reboot loop, I can be sure.

Also motherboard and cpu not removed but, if they 'd be the problem, either I got no visual (black screen) or no powerloss and waiting during rebooting am I right?
