Hello, I am wondering if an Intel core i7 4790k, 8gb DDR3 Ripjaws X Ram, and a GTX 960 4gb G1 Gaming. Will my EVGA 500W 80+ PSU be able to power it? I won't be Overclocking or anything like that. I know quite a bit about CPU's and GPU's etc. But just not the best with Power Supplies even after researching and checking power calculators still unsure. Anyone who could answer this I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Solution
By all means it will last for a few months.
The unit is great for systems with intention to replace the unit with a high quality unit (look at the RMx series) within a few months.

Its safe to use and wont cause damage, its just not the best.

But I would be safe and not have to worry about it blowing up on me? Like I will probably buy a 750W or 850W PSU by Christmas time I am just wondering in the mean time if this will last me.
