Hello,
I have this system and i want to upgrade:
MOBO: Asus Rampage IV Extreme
CPU: Intel i7 3820
GPU: EVGA GTX 680 Classified Watercooled
POWER: CORSAIR AX850
MONITOR: 2x Asus vg248qe

My ask is i want to upgrade GPU with EVGA 1070, but i want to know the compatibility with GTX 680 in sli, is there any problem? any interference with other part of my system?

Any help is welcomed
Thanks you very much

Solution
You CANNOT use SLI between those two. You must have them as independent cards and use the nvidia control panel to set the physx compute location to the second card. Do NOT try to connect them with an SLI bridge.

The 1070 will support 144Hz on both monitors without any issue, no need to use the 680 for that. You can't game by putting them on separate cards anyway.

Yeah i want it for physx, so there is no problem to have 1070 with 680 in sli?
The problem is i cant have dual monitor with 144hz with 680, so if i have 1070 and 680 i can connect to dvi and get both monitors to 144hz
what do you think about that? :)
