My PC Wont Run Games Anymore With A Stable Frame Rate

I recently upgraded my pc so i could game as well as take on alot of work load at the same time but recently i have not been able to play some of even my oldest games (Saints Row:The Third) without complete lag and i have no idea what is causing it since all drivers are up to date and the spec's are way over what i need for the specified game.

My PC Specs:

Motherboard - GA-X99P-SLI
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 32gb DDR4 (Quad Channel)
Processor - I7 6850k
GPU - AMD R9 290
PSU - Corsair 850i Platinum Cert

it didnt work. then i heard about a new bios update for my motherboard to help the DDR compatibility which now allows it to over perfor old games instead of under perform them now, thank you for your help though
