hi guys,,need help my rig composed
AMD FX-8350 @stock
Zotac gtx760 amp
4x4gb 16gb vengeance 2133mhz
CM 412s push-pull
MSi gaming 970 MB
ssd sandisk plus 240
4 HDD FOR MY DATA
3 120MM & 2 140MM for case cooling
case AEROCOOL STRIKE-x BIG
XFX XTR Series 550W PSU 80+ GOLD

so here is the story,,must to upgrade my graphic card im thingking for this 2 MSI GTX 970 OC or GIGABYTE GTX 970 GAMING G1....the QUESTION is ,,,can my PSU XFX XTR Series 550W PSU can handle this graphic card or i need to upgrade...im no a big fan of OVER CLOCKING im not a rich mamma's boy ...so everything are all run in stock....

Your PSU has two 8 pin PCIe cables. So as long as you don't buy some insanely overclocked GTX 970, you should be fine, since most GTX 970s should only require one 8pin.

yup guys,,upgrading from gtx 760 amp. to gigabyte 970 G1,,and thingking for buying a new PSU @amazon.it the price of EVGA SUPERNOVA B2 850w 80+ bronze and EVGA SUPERNOVA GQ 750W 80+ GOLD IS THE SAME...plan to go for sli this gtx 970,,can you help me to decide guys...the bronze 850w have JAPANESE CAPACITORS only in pcb while the GOLD 750w have full JAPANESE CAPACITORS IN EVERY PART....BOTH @ 109€....

i plan to go on sli maybe 3 months from now to buy another gtx 970...i think even the 650w cannot hold the 970 sli...what are you think bro..? can a 80+ gold tier 1 psu can handle the gtx 970 sli..?

As long as it has the proper cables and you don't overclock to the sky a quality 650W unit can handle two 970s.

ok lets think about...europe is the sugar daddy of asia, most of all electronics product..i...you how much the xfx xtr 650w 80+ gold here in amazon.it,,,,,here https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B00I5HF0KU/ref=pd_luc_rh_sbs_01_01_t_img_lh?ie=UTF8&psc=1,,,,almost the same price of 2 PSU that i talking about above this article..
