Hello guys! I am stuck in a little problem here and the problem is that my friend
gifted me a motherboard of gateway company and its model like MCP61PM-GM and
manufacturer ECS which i have noted from the cpu-z software and the processor AMD
Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Dual Core 3.00 ghz and also let me know you that i am basically
new to AMD processors so come to the point what i want to know is that how much ram will
my mobo support? Will 16 gb dual channel or single channel (4 rams of 4 gb in four
slots) be supported in this gateway motherboard or not?
Currently using 3 rams of 1gb ddr2 of single channel in 3 slots.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
