Solution

An i7 is not going to give you any tangible benefit in games and is a waste of $100 if you are only gaming. The i5-6600k is overclockable, will give stellar performance in games, and pretty much is the highest-end CPU you want for gaming.

The GTX 1070 will give you MUCH more performance than the 1060, as it is made for 1440p. This card will give you great FPS at 1080p and very smooth FPS at 1440p.

Other than that I just made a high-quality build that will crush your gaming needs. Feel free to select a Best Answer so others can use said answer as reference. Good luck! Ask me any question you'd...

I think a i5-6600k would fit you better. and no need for a Z170 Chipset with a non-overclockable chip. Could have gone with a 1070 with that budget. Would you like me to make you a build for ~$1400?

Edit: Oh wait peripherals. Still making you a build xD

I can definitely save up for that! Thanks! Is there any way I can buy this pre-built from any other website? if not, im fine with buying the parts separate and paying someone to build it for me.

It will cost you a lot more, why not try building yourself? I just did my first build and it was much easier than expected.

I heard it would cost about $50 - $100 to bring it to someone to have them build it, I emailed a guy in my area last night about them building it and seeing how much it would cost but no reply yet...i may try, but know i have No idea of how to even start..

I agree. Manufactured machines come with a hefty price premium and are usually lacking in the graphics and memory department.

If you just swap out the 1060 in my above build for a 1070, you get the following. A A170 motherboard, K SKU CPU, pre-filled AiO liquid cooler, SSD and 1TB of storage.

About the same, although it does not come with a 850 EVO SSD( they are faster ) and no monitor/keyboard/mouse so it would be about $1700 for the same framerates.

I personal messaged you, look there :D

Yes, I meant Z170.

He had the peripherals under the system price, so I thought they were separate.

Here's a helpful YouTube video on the subject.

I realize this message was a mess... I messed up some of the BBCode... It should be fixed now.
