I just got the Cooler Master Hyper T4 and when i put it in I realized that I had to take out 2 of my RAM slots to allow it to fit. I had to use the 2 slots that are closest to the outside, so my computer still thinks I have 8gb. I have a mini sized motherboard, so that might be the problem. I can't re-orient the heatsink because the side is hitting the ram (both ways it'll still get in the way)

If I buy a larger motherboard will it solve the problem or no? Seems like a pretty big design flaw if your heatsink doesn't allow you to have enough ram. I already used the thermal paste and installed it so I can't return it I don't think. I looked at other motherboards and it seems like I'll just encounter the same problem.

My current motherboard is MSI 970A-G46.
