So all I need to do is just to make sure, to install the card I put in the the slot, close my case, plug the vga cable into it and install the drivers? P.S will I need to uninstall my ATI Radeon 4200? I have an Inspiron 570.

So I didn't get a chance to see this response. However, I installed the GTX 750 Ti into my pc and basically my monitor wouldn't turn on after about 2 or 3 minutes of waiting. And I decided to remove it and now my pc and monitor and running perfectly fine. I have no clue why this is happening but it's starting to annoy me. there is this weird vga cable in the back of the card I didn't plug into. Could that be the issue?
