Well... I'm having a problem with my secondary HDD which apparently does not show up in This PC( aka My Computer) no more, only thing I see is my SSD and my DVD drive, which is strange since that HDD was working perfectly fine yesterday.

My Disk Management says this:

1.
Disk 0 (C: ) Basic, Online <-- My SSD

2.
Disk 1 Unknown, Not Initialized <-- Probably my HDD

3.
CD-ROM 0 (D: ) DVD, Online <-- My DVD reader

I was going to test it in Seatools for windows, but it didn't show up there.

Also I did replug all the cables and tried plugging it into different ports, but no luck... still the HDD seems to be spinning as I can hear it when I start up my PC, and also it is warm.

Hey there, @EliotZ!

I'd recommend you check how the HDD will appear if you use a different SATA cable with it altogether. Another thing that's worth the try is checking how it will get detected from another PC as well. If it appears as unknown / not initialized in Disk Management, it might have failed. If that's the case, please try again the manufacturer's HDD diagnostic tool or a third-party alternative to check the health and SMART status of the drive.

If you have important data on the HDD, you might need to consult a professional data recovery company for assistance.
IF you don't, then you could try re-initializing it through Disk Management, which will require you re-format it as well. Keep in mind...

Let me know how it goes and keep me posted with the SMART results.
