Hi everyone!
-TLDR is there a software or inbuilt windows 10 function that will allow me to connect a computer i'm using as a server and two laptops that need to be connected to this server from a different location outside of the business network?
to be completely frank, i know very little about networks outside of local are networking. My task is to create a vpn (or something like it) so that 2 laptops can connect to a computer acting as a server. I am using a Program called MYOB account right, its installed correctly on all 3 devices including the server edition on the main computer(which has a static IP).
in the past ive done basic things like set up a minecraft server (que the hate) where i had to port forward and install the program , and joined a hamachi server, programs like this i'd be happer to use, but security is a concern.
due to the server and laptops being in completely different locations i'd assume i'd need to use my public IP address, but im limited by the program to the fact that it works on the standard '192.168.x.xxx' thus i need a way for them all to be considered on a i guess local network.
