Hey guys, so first time building a pc, will be a budget one(500€ max) for gaming 1080p, of course not looking for ultra.
Disregard the hard drive, cooler, etc...

Current parts still to buy:
CPU 104€: AMD FX 6300
RAM 20€ each: Crucial Sport DDR3-1600MHz 4GB 2x
GPU 199€: GeForce Gigabyte OC Windforce GTX 960
Motherboard 69€: GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P REV 2.0

Does with case work? Zalman A1? Or is there a better one for this build(30€~)?
Also want to know if this psu supports the gpu XT Series 500W PSU 80+ Bronze . If not please suggest for a 40€-50€ psu.
Is the ram ok? I see the motherboard supports higher as well 2000mhz(O.C.)/1866Mhz.

Solution
You have a decent system your putting together, Why install a crappy PSU.?
The PSU is the life blood of your system and should not be underestimated.

A 650W-750W gold certified unit would be best. EVGA and Seasonic are excellent.

An AIO water cooler, say a H80 is best for the FX-6300 if you want to OC.

Make sure the DIMMs you sellect are on the MB QVL tested list. The ram is OK @ 1600MHz

Damn those are bit over my budget. Anything that should work fine that's cheaper?
No need for water coolers.
And yes the ram seems to be on the MB QVL list. BLS4G3D1609DS1S00

If you have budget constraints then someone will come on that will recommend something cheap to gratify you. I won't do that. You could get by with what you have asked to be reviewed, however your Choice of PSU will barely cope and may or may not last 1 year and a failing PSU can cause damage if you use your system continuous and play games that are demanding.

An AIO water cooler of the spec provided is no more expensive than a decent Air cooler and is simple to install.

For the slight extra cost an FX-8300 would be a better buy performance/price wise. In my country that is.

I'd urge you to save a little more and increase your budget:

Does this PSU work: Seasonic S12II 620W?
And if I were to change the CPU to Intel Core i3-6100 what motherboard you'd recommend for around same price as that one?Would it be wise to pay a few extra bux for this?
Or amd fx 8350 still better, eight cores? I read games don't need that many cores.

All german sellers, meaning with the shipment would be over 650€ here, def not worth.

I am not one to recommend generic Bronze PSUs but that's my choice being an OCer.
The Seasonic S12II 620W is a good quality unit and would serve your purpose. It comes with a 5 year Warranty which is good.

8 cores is a definite advantage for multitasking and playing MMOs which can be core intensive.

A 650W PSU is extremely overkill for a rig that should be around 180W when gaming, or when overclocked, 250W. And also, again, efficiency really does not = quality. Sure, it's nice to have a lower power bill as well as some less waste heat under certain load scenarios (and not necessarily all), but there are too many other factors that should be taken into consideration.

For his system I recommend the FSP Hydro X 450. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817104229 I'm sure you'd love it since it's gold, but that's not even why I recommend it. I reocmmend it because it is a quiet unit with a high quality FDB fan, it has overall good performance, DC_DC regulation, and high quality internal components. Along with plenty of PCIe cables for even high end GPUs. And it actually has some of the best low load efficiency.

While I agree on buying a quality PSU, 650-750 watts is extremely excessive for his system.

Edeezz the Seasonic S12II 520 would be perfectly fine for your system, don't even bother spending extra ion the 620 you don't need it.

^ I agree with above, also ignore the 8 core chips & stick with the 6300 if on a tight budget.
The ds3p will struggle with 8 cores under heavy load IMO & the performance gain is minimal in gaming .
Buying an 8 core would also mean uprating the motherboard to be safe & that's going to be another €20-30 .

I only used German retailers to get prices in Euros.

Where is "here" exactly?

Thought so as well, that's way too much power for a low end rig.

Also, thoughts on this alternate build?
CPU: Intel Core i3-6100
GPU: GeForce Gigabyte GTX 950 2GB Windforce OC
PSU: Seasonic S12II 420W
Motherboard: MSI H110M-Gaming
Ram: Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4-2133MHz 8GB 1x
Case: NOX COOLBAY MX USB 3.0 or case too small?

That is a perfectly good low end gaming rig. The only thing I would change is get 2x4gb ram so it works in dual channel.

I can't tell for sure but I think that case is MicroATX, the board is MicroATX so you should be fine.

Case is MicroATX yes, on the MSI website says it's mATX, should be fine.
The board supports only 2 dimm slots, dual channel better that a single ram right.

Yes you're fine with board and case. And yes dual channel runs faster, you should always run it this way.

They would all fit.

I am not a fan of that PSU at all, its ok but the Seasonic S12II 520 or the 430 (which is enough) we discussed is FAR FAR better.

Alright, then Seasonic it is. If everything fits in the case then I'm all set.
