my System :
cpu---Pentium Dual core e5700 @ 3.00GHz
gpu---Geforce GT 730 1gb ddr5 384 cores
motherboard---Simm-Int G-41D3(V1)
hdd---1TB+500GB
ram---4gb ddr3
os----xp sp2 32 bits[3.5 gb ram usable]
win7 sp1 32 bits[3.5 gb ram usable]
win8.1 64 bits [4gb ram]

I intend to upgrade my ram from 4gb to 8gb. I looked up on internet and found that my motherboard simm-int g-41d3(v1) supports ddr3x2 1066/800 with max capacity 8gb.

Q1------My present 4gb ddr3 ram gives me Bsod occasionally .Errors are these:

Pool corruption in file area;memory management, page fault in nonpaged area;pfn list corrupt;kernel mode exception;attempted write to read only memory and driver irql not less or equal.

And when i add another 4gbddr3 to my existing 4gb ddr3 the system did'nt boot up .Please explain if motherboard supports 8gb ram max than why no boot up with 4+4gb and occasional bsod with existing 4gb ram?

I want to confirm that if i buy a single 8gb ram stick,it would be supported by my motherboard.

If my existing 4gb ram is faulty and 8gb ram is supported by my motherboard i would happily replace existing 4gb with a 8gb ram. Please guide.
