Cant connect to internet using ethernet cable / connect at all

My macbook can connect to my internet via wifi without problem and so can my iphone but my stationary computer cant connect via Ethernet neither via Wifi. It says i am connected to the internet but i cant go onto google or facebook, use spotify or anything.

I have tried restarting my modem and such but nothing helps. What should i do?

From a cmd prompt can you ping an iP address try 8.8.8.8? If so then try pinging www.google.com let us know the results

I tried pinging google and 8888, pinging google didnt work, but 8888 got me 4 replies

So you have a dns issue, try setting the dns entry on the macs network settings to 8.8.8.8 and secondary to 8.8.4.4 let us know if the problem is fixed

But its my stationary computer that i cant connect with, is it the mac thats causing or it what?

No idea why but in your network settings on the pc/mac that you cant connect with manually assign the dns servers given above and see if that fixes your issue.

I set first dns to 8.8.8.8 and alternative dns server to 8.8.4.4 and nothing happened.

Interesting. Is it a pc? if so open a cmd prompt and post the results of "ipconfig /all" What browser are you using??

When i go onto task manager, and uninstall the ethernet connection and then restart my PC it works to then go onto the web and use spotify and such, but then stops working after a while, and im using chrome
