thermal paste after teardown graphics card

i had teardown my graphics card do i need to re apply new thermal paste ?
i didn't clean existing thermal paste from heatsink or graphics chip. i just put back heatsink on it as before.

Card: Zotac 750 ti

You should always replace thermal paste when removing the cooler.

If you do not, you may get air(or dust for that matter) trapped between the cooler and gpu core. This would not be good.

I am not saying that it can not be done, but it is not recommended.

for now i have test my card, whether it can play games or not ( seems it is little bit damage but not sure, may be it will work fine ), then i can buy new thermal paste.
