2 Months ago I bought the Sades A60/OMG headset. I was building a gaming PC but I still wanted to test it out, when I plugged it into my Windows 10 laptop, no trouble, it started to work, month later, I built my PC and started trying to use it on there and it won't work at all. I go to device manager and it says it needs drivers, but on my laptop it says it requires no drivers. I contacted the Manufacturer, Microsoft support, and nothing. Please help if you can.

I have tried every USB port, I dont think I have installed the chipset drivers, do they come on the installation disk for MOBO? and I should backup the drivers and install them on here

I use a USB headset. I've found that they'll only work under certain conditions. They must be set as default speakers in audio settings. Also, if you plan on using them during a game, they must be attached before game starts. It's not anything to do with drivers etc, just the way windows deals with add-on USB.

Go Here and select Win 10 - 64bit from the Please Select your operation system first: dropdown. Then download the On-Board Audio Drivers. This will download a ZIP file to your system. As always, scan the downloaded file with your preferred anti-virus program (right click on the downloaded ZIP file and select Scan With {your installed antivirus program}). Once the scan comes back clean, right-click the file again and select Extract All...

This will open a new RealTek_HD_Audio folder. Double-click the HD_6.0.1.7855 folder and then scroll down and double click on the Setup application file.

This should walk you through the rest of the installation.

I actually just did this, no good. updated my chipset, Bios and onboard audio. I have backed up my drivers from my laptop, but how do I install them? there is no setup wizard, just a folder, containing drivers

If you have the latest drivers from MSI's web site installed, then there is no reason to try and reinstall the backed up drivers (especially if they didn't work either).

Karadjgne makes a good point. Are you going into Sound Devices and making sure the USB Headset is selected as the Default playback device?

Right-click the speaker icon next to the clock in the Task Bar
Select Playback Devices
In the window that opens you should see a list of attached devices
One should say:

Speakers :: blah, blah USB Headset :: Ready
or
Speakers :: blah, blah USB Headset :: Default Device

If it says "Ready" Click on it to highlight it, click on the Set Default button and then click OK.
If it says "Default Device" and you're still not hearing anything, check to make sure you're not muted

Now try any audio producing app or web site. It *should* be working

If it's still not working and your tried every USB port (front and back), have you simply tried rebooting the system? Do you get audio from your normal speakers/monitor?

My headset. I am not the illiterate when it comes to computers. if that was all that was wrong, I would have it working by now. I have the driver, I cant install it, I need to know how.

Ok.

You're not that illiterate, but I'm not a mind reader either. It's all in the details.

So, are you saying that with the USB headset plugged into a USB port, when you right-click on the Speakers icon next to the clock in the task bar and select Playback Devices, your headset does not appear in that list?

Don't care if it sucks, as long as it works. Can you post a pic of your Sound window so I can see what we're dealing with here? For instance, here's what mine looks like with my speakers set as default and my USB headset at the ready

Ok. Please confirm that your computer is currently connected to an Element ELEFW 19 HDTV as well as a set of speakers where the audio is currently coming from.

I do not see your headset listed here. I am hoping they are currently connected. If not, plug them in and take another screen shot of your Sound window with them connected.

If they are connected and they are not showing up in this window, then your computer is not recognizing them. I know this may be a lengthy process, but what I would like you to do is:

1) Make sure you can actually hear audio from the computer. Click on the video below. Do you hear audio with your current connected speakers?

If so, then you should be able to hear the typical New Device Connected sound that Windows 10 plays when you connect a USB device. Something like this:

Once again, check each USB port, by plugging in the headset into each USB port (both front and back). With each port that you plug the headset into, you should hear that rising sound.

So make sure you can actually hear audio from the speakers, then test each USB port (front and back) to see if you can hear that sound and let us know.

Edit: If you hear the Device Connected sound, check your Sound window again to see if your headsets are now listed.
