Can clock speed kill my CPU?

So i've been using the high performance power plan for something like a month (no OC), now i'm a little concerned about the clock speeds of my cpu. It has been running at max speed but the temps were always good (under 20°c idle). So, can the lifespan of my CPU be shorten by using always max clock speeds?

Solution
No. Frequency in and of itself doesn't affect CPU lifespan. Overheating does. So if you're always under 80(70 preferably but 80 is safe aswell), you're golden.

Any particular reason you have it set to high performance? As said above, running the CPU at max frequency isn't going to kill it, but it does seem kinda pointless. I'm pretty sure you won't see any difference between the high performance and balanced power plans, outside of maybe benchmarking.
