Would an Intel core i7 4790k and an RX 470 OC Edition be a good pair? And if so would an EVGA 500W 80+ PSU be able to power it? I know its a tier 3 quality PSU but if it gets the job done without any risks then it gets the job done. I plan to be playing Arma 3, DayZ Standalone, Gta 5, Battlefield etc.

It is a good combo and I've read that the i74790k performs better than the 6600k -correct me if I'm wrong-. I recommend maybe buying a tier 2 (or even tier 1), because you don't want your PSU to damage your components or have it fail within a year.
