[SOLVED] How to open a xip Mac file in windows

Hey there. I have a macintosh installed in my laptop with VMware Workstation. I want to use Xcode in my virtual mac. I download a copy of xcode from apple's website. The file is in .xip format. When i try to extract that file in vmWare it shows me a error. So i decided to extract that file in my windows. My question is that, is there is any way to extract a xip file in windows. Any rply may helpful. Thanks in advance..

As long as you are running Mac OS x version 10.11.5 the Archive Utility should handle the file. If you don't have that version of OS X there's no point as that version of XCode requires it.

You can't extract the file in Windows.
