Some info that could be related to my issue, although I don't have a clue what it could be at this point:

------------

Windows 10, don't know if it's anniversary edition and don't know if that's relevant because this has been an issue for ~a month.

I have the lovely ISP Comcast

30 mbps internet

my default gateway is 10.0.1.1 using apple airport utility

my actual router is a really old asus router if I recall the name correctly.

I have two network adapters, Netgear A6200 and A6210, both have the same issues (and previously had their own issues that may or may not be related to this/caused by this... the issues stopped besides my current issue) https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/4uo6hj/issue_windows_10_netgear_wifi_adapters/

When I go into command prompt and type "ping 10.0.1.1 -t" and then stop it after ~2 minutes, it says I have 0% packet loss but occasionally the amount of time it takes to ping myself takes over 100ms.

Anyway, let's get to the actual issue and some footage of where I notice it most.

-------------

This is an issue that started nearly a month ago, and I still can't figure out the problem.

I recorded a video of me playing offline and me playing online so you might be able to understand what I'm experiencing.

Quality is awful but that's why I don't make videos or stream anything. Definitely not because I'm not entertaining. Anyway...

Offline: https://youtu.be/kohqiFoygb0?t=20s
You don't have to watch much, it's just to get an understanding of how I normally play.

Online: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNLOAEHfOT0

Specific instances:

- https://youtu.be/pNLOAEHfOT0?t=1m16s [delayed kill]
- https://youtu.be/pNLOAEHfOT0?t=1m23s [strange stuttering during spray]
- https://youtu.be/pNLOAEHfOT0?t=1m52s [at end of spray, a single stray bullet fires even though I stopped shooting earlier]
- https://youtu.be/pNLOAEHfOT0?t=2m30s [in middle of spray, gunfire sound stops similar to stuttering previously listed]
- https://youtu.be/pNLOAEHfOT0?t=3m03s [delayed kill]
- https://youtu.be/pNLOAEHfOT0?t=3m34s [stuttering again]
- https://youtu.be/pNLOAEHfOT0?t=4m04s [sound stops again]
- https://youtu.be/pNLOAEHfOT0?t=4m45s [stutter + player teleports away]
- https://youtu.be/pNLOAEHfOT0?t=4m55s [stuttering again]

And people who play against me/spectate me tell me I'm constantly teleporting/lagging. Usually they ask if it's just them but I've gotten used to saying it's me I'm a laggy piece of shit.

Help me.

So whenever you are dealing with something that is true lag 95% of the time it is the response time between you and the server. This is your ping. As you mentioned yours currently sits at 100ms. to put it in perspective when I play RL mine is about 12. This will cause a noticable lag. My suggestion to you would be if you have the option try to hard wire yourself to the router with and ethernet cable first and see if that helps at all.

Yes but I've had my setup unchanged for almost 2 years without issues, this only started happening recently.

Also I explained something wrong. When I ping myself in console, I get a lot of =1ms or <1ms, but it sometimes returns +100ms like once every 10 or 15, which brings my average to 9ms.

I can't get ethernet unless I drill a hole through the ceiling unfortunately.
