Hi. I got win 10 64 bit, 64 GB RAM on an i7 6820HK @ 2.7Ghz running an 512GB SSD with 2 TB HDD. I would like to know how much of virtual memory dedicated page file is best for speed in high end games. How much should I allocated fr best performance? Is it a problem to have too much? The reason I ask is that when in high end games the framertate drops significantly...for a minute or so, then goes back to normal. and i found my new laptop is quite laggy and slow with performance in windows 10

Windows is recommending me to have 9080 in Virtual Memory
is that enough ? as i got 64GB of RAM do i have to increase this to get the best out of my pc?

i have ASUS G752VY ROG with GTX980M 8GB Graphics Card...

Unless you absolutely need the additional space don't bother changing it from default.

As for "laggy" performance, 99.999% chance it's something you installed. I highly recommend doing a clean Win 10 install (instructions at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10) and then install ONLY software that is absolutely necessary (drivers but no geforce experience, steam games but absolutely nothing pirated, legitimate versions of Office, etc)
When in question, don't touch it.

In general, vmem is not really needed once you cross ~16gb ram for most people, with 64GB you can probably just leave it at 1~2GB and be done with it on everything but critical servers (which won't be running win 10 anyway).
