I am looking to build my first PC to play ESO at ultra with good fps and I could use some advice before I pull the trigger later this week.

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/cZbDcc

This was a shot in the dark. I'm still reading and learning more about all of this. It's over my budget, but I don't know where I need to make changes.

Approximate Purchase Date: later this week or early next week

Budget Range: $500 - $800

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, internet

Are you buying a monitor: Yes, separate from the above budget

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Location: Indianapolis

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU preferably. I've heard ESO runs better on Intel. Something to do with core locking?

Overclocking: no

SLI or Crossfire: no

Your Monitor Resolution: As good as possible while staying under $400

Additional Comments: I want to be able to play Elder scrolls online at max settings. It's pretty much the only game I play anymore.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I've never had a great computer for gaming. I think it's time I do. Thank you all for helping an old dude out!

Solution
That's a pretty nice build, we can do some tweaks though.

-I'm very curious, you said you don't want to overclock, yet you have a "K" processor, aftermarket CPU cooler, and Z170 motherboard which is an all-around overclocking build. So if you don't want to overclock I would drop down to an i5-6500, use the stock cooler, and an H170 board like the ASRock Pro4.

-I would also get a better power supply, yours is okay but it's worth spending a little more. XFX 550w TS, EVGA 550w G2, Seasonic S12II 520w are all good options.

-You don't want a traditional hard drive as well? 250gb isn't a lot.

Everything else looks pretty good. ESO is a lightweight game so an RX 480 is perfect even for higher resolutions. I'd pair it with a nice 1440p...

It costs over $400, but the money you save by skipping the overclocking setup can be routed here: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/t4Crxr/acer-monitor-umhg0aa001

Thanks for your help! I don't know anything about overcIocking. Those choices are just from ignorance. I chose a SSD because I will use this computer just for games. Anything else will be on my laptop. I can just use an external drive for anything else I need. I will do some reading on the suggested parts and make my decision. Thanks again!
