My first build would not boot up yesterday, it would make a noise, power button had light but it was on a black screen. I have tried various things I now I have just taken everything apart to "breadboard" the motherboard.
My thermal paste looked almost a little dry so I am redoing that as well. I have began to clean if off of the cooler with 70% Isopropyl alcohol, but it won't quite get all of it off.
It looks like there is still a really thin layer, it almost looks more like a stain than actually being there because there is so little.
Am I gonna have to get 91% to clean it completely off?
Any recommendations on what to put the alcohol on to clean it?
