Hi all, I apologize in advance for my English I come from another country.

Question is: I got cpu clocked at 4.4 Ghz / 1.295V with air cooling. During the stress test using realbench or aida64 temperatures reaching over 80°C in very short time which is a lot of course. But if I play the games, (WoW,cs:go, lords of the fallen etc.) the temperature never exceeds 60°C. I am a heavy player, can i use this setting or higher only to play games safe, even though the temperature in the benchmark/stress test will be really high? For sure I got active overheating protection set at 75°C.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

my rig:
cpu: Intel Core i7-5820K
gpu: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 ACX 2.0
mb: GIGABYTE GA-X99-UD4
ram: Crucial 8GB, Ballistix Sport
cooler: Be Quiet! Shadow Rock Slim (upgrade fans)
source: CORSAIR CS650M

Solution
it's pretty obvious, your game is not taxing processor as high as torture tests and benchmarks do. They are just for finding upper limits and errors that may show up when everything loaded to the max.
