Gaming Laptop Suggestion?

I'm in the market for a new gaming laptop and wondering where I can get the best bang for my buck. Obviously that would technically be buying my own parts and buiding my own desktop, but I am strictly interested in laptop gaming because of the portability and space saving.

As far as budget goes, technically there is no set budget but the cheaper the better, I'd say preferably sub-1,500 or 2,000 if I can. Weight/thickness is not TOO important but of course I'd prefer lighter and thinner but it's not a big deal.

Would it be best to buy a pre-built MSI or go the more custom-built route of ibuypower/cyberpower/xotic/sager etc? I like Falcon Northwest and Origin the most probably, just because of how slick their chassis look. But both seem pretty overpriced most likely solely for that reason. Although on that same note, the computer's appearance is important to me so maybe that's worth factoring in.

Anyway, are there any suggestions for how I can get the most value out of my money in the realm of laptop gaming? Thanks a lot.

The Razer Blade is actually the laptop I am replacing right now. All I have to say is I will never buy from them again.

Had an issue with the laptop, send in to be repaired. It's gone for over a month (which is fine, whatever). But I get it back and the warranty expires soon thereafter. A couple months after that, the same exact issue happens so it was not fixed properly the first time. I contact them to ask them to honor the warranty anyway since it was not fixed well the first time since the same issue is occurring with the hardware. They tell me they won't, and that it will cost $250 plus shipping just to get them to look at it, determine what is wrong, and tell me what it'll cost to fix. Awful customer service experience.
