I am about to upgrade my CPU and Motherboard, from Amd to Intel (Finally) and I was wondering if it's possibly to use the windows key again. I bought Windows 8.1 from amazon, but can i just re use the hard drive (which is also the boot drive) or will i have to wipe it and reinstall window. Also how can i actually wipe the hard drive but still be able to reuse it?

When you install windows again, simply go to the advanced disk settings, remove all partitions, then make a new one (windows will add additional partitions automatically, just make one big one when prompted). After that install and enjoy
