Thermaltake V9 How to remove the top panel to replace the fan?

Well my cousin have this case and want me to replace the fan and i dont realy see how exactly can we remove the top panel to replace the 230mm fan? >.< maybe seme1 know how to do it... all i see is 3 screw... from inside.... are they screw that need to be remove to be able to remove the top panel? (Normaly case doesnt have screw that hold the panel... pretty weird one if i need to remove them lol)

Doesn't appear to be a user manual, unless you have a physical copy. Looks like you are on your own on this one.

I can't imagine it is too complicated. Are you having trouble with the grill or the plastic bezel? The grill is likely removeable with a little pressure in one direction or another since it likely snaps in. The bezel is probably riveted or screwed to the case.

So, you will need to remove the 3 screws from the inside, then the top slides forward to unlatch.

once you get that off you can remove the side-rails by removing 6 screws (3 on each side) with the side rails gone the fan (which was never really attached to anything) comes right out.

As far as replacements go, I purchased a fan that was 30MM thick, and it is definitely too thick for this space.
Looks like you will need a 20mm replacement, and good luck finding that

I am just going to do a case mod... lose the rails and hope the rest of the top piece is flexible enough to stay in place.
