Okay, this morning I was going to try and Overclock for the first time in my life. I was nervous about i but i wanted to get my money's worth so i decided to do it. Biggg mistake

I changed my base clock (i5 6600k) from 3.5 to 4.2 to get a nice stable overclock. Changed the voltage to 1.250 and then exited. I pressed save and exit then bam!
Nothing happened. It was just a black screen with nothing. This happened for about 5 mins and I started to freak out. I unplugged it and pressed the reset button on my case and it finally worked. I then went back into my bios and changed it to default setting. I've decided i'm done with overclocking. I played overwatch for about one hour then dead by daylight, then i played a game called bloons td battles. When i went on i had no troubles but then i got a blue screen that was like wdf_(something, I forgot) and i searched it up and it had nothing to do with overclocking but i had never gotten a blue screen before this. I dont know if this is possible but it happened very quickly after i turned on my really fast autoclicker i just got. Could that be it? I just ran stress tests on my cpu and everything should be fine? Why did i blue screen?
