So far, my current parts are:
EVGA GTX 1070
Corsair TX 750M

Parts Suggested to me were: i5 660K
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117561&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Processors+-+Desktops-_-N82E16819117561&gclid=Cj0KEQjw88q9BRDB5qLcwLXr7_sBEiQAZsGja9ozQrmQGX6Czm3RnLby2beg08FNhd33e-WHJC9ZEKYaAv7G8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds)

G. SKILL RIPJAW V series RAM 16 GB 8*2
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231892&cm_re=Ripjaws_V_2666_DRAM-_-20-231-892-_-Product)

I was also suggested this mobo: ASUS Z170-A LGA 1151 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132566&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleKWLess&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleKWLess-_-DSA-_-CategoryPages-_-NA&gclid=Cj0KEQjw88q9BRDB5qLcwLXr7_sBEiQAZsGja9WB8Co3YxW6_A6pbuPXSAc6yC4ZgBH5hYanr8jgY-EaAgQ28P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds)

However, the reviews for that particular mobo have me worried. So I'm wondering, taking my current parts into account, is there a mobo I can get thats better than the one suggested to me, for a somewhat similar price?

The Z170-A is a very good mobo, for about $15 more can move up to the Asus Z170 Pro Gamer (I like the BIOS and sound better on the Pro Gamer) have done multiple builds on each and they will do well with both the 6600K and the RJ Vs (might also consider kicking the DRAM up to 3000 or 3200 with the same line (available at 3200 in a variety of CLs from 14-16)
