Help with pc build!?

Solution
Here is the best value build with the same peformance you can get. :)
I assumed the cards were personal preference, but the EVGA SC cards will perform much the same, but at a slightly higher temperature with lower noise, not much to consider tbh.
Feel free to put the second card in the third slot if you want, provides additional airflow to the cards while giving the same performance, as they are both 8x slots.

I just put random components because why not. I agree. Could have changed the PSU (1200w is way overkill and some other parts)

@dexxterlab97, OP doesn't need a 1200W PSU, 750W is plenty for 1080 SLI and overclocking. Also for that price you should go with a M.2 SSD as its much faster then sata.

***Before you go with SLI make sure the Nvidia HB SLI Bridge is available to you as it works much better then a standard SLI bridge.

I beg to differ Wildcard....
Trident Z RAM and a 950 Pro are not good investments unless you have extreme cash to blow, and don't care about money.
They won't offer any improvements over other choices for gaming.
The Kraken is also unnecessary, a DH-14 will cool it much the same without the risk of water damage and at a lower cost.

The "budget" is around 5K USD... I thought that was quite a bit of cash to blow lol. But yes the OP could save some money by going air cooling and a standard SSD.

Also I feel the whole "water damage" excuse is quite old, the only big issue was the release of the Corsair H100 as they had a lot of leaks but Corsair not only replaced the coolers but also paid for the parts damaged.

Here it is with the PG279Q.
It features an IPS panel.
If you want better value, get the Dell S2716DG, much cheaper and offers the same experience and specs but with a TN panel instead. Essentially the same as the PG278Q, but better. :)

Look at the price! m.2 SSD is not a bad choice

Nah, doesn't go far in New Zealand, always more than direct conversion.
They have probably the most exorbitant prices around for PC parts, and I live in AUS and thought it was bad!
Best to save as much money as possible where you can while keeping the quality high in this case. :)

yes it is possible. switched to Gigabyte for lower price
