R9 280x artifact help

Hi guys. I recently bought a used r9 280x from some random guy online and i have been getting massive artifact during gaming. I did a memory underclock using afterburner freom 1500mhz to 1250mhz and those artifact is gone. Will this hurt my performance in gaming a lot and will this hurt my gpu in a long run? thank you.

you kinda got screwed. the guy before you clearly beat this card hard.

90% of time you get lucky with used hardware. I got a 7970 from ebay works great!

you will need to keep that memory underclocked however. one of the ram modjules is going out.

should last for a while, but it will be slower than a stock 280x. probabaly as fast as a overclocked 280, still not bad.
