I am wondering whats considered high temps for the new NVIDIA cards. Also could someone recommend a program that show HW monitoring while playing a game?

Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure the GTX 1070 throttles around 84C, so you are fine. There is nothing wrong with running GPUs at their max temperature. People have mining rigs that are running their chips at high temps 24/7 for years without a problem. Rarely is the actual silicon dying a concern, the stuff that is way more likely to die on a graphics card are the memory modules, the VRM, or the fan(s). Cooling those three things is more important than cooling the actual GPU chip.

Thanks for link. I don't I have had anything over 73 with this card. At the same time I still haven't tested Doom out. Would you happen to know if there is a program out there that would display my HW Monitoring. Before I was using afterburner because I was using my MSI on my main gaming rig but now I am using an EVGA GTX 1070 OC and it wont run.

Thanks again btw
