So the other day my computer stopped working. The lights were on and every time i clicked the power button it would flash then disappear.

The next day it started working again, but I noticed the screen didn't fit right, and it was using VGA and not HDMI (Which has no connection). I was told to go to the CCC, but I couldn't. I then used the AMD Auto-detect, and it says that there is nothing connected.

My Graphics card is working, its spinning and has a light, but it isn't detecting. I have uninstalled all AMD drivers and stuff, but don't know what to do now.

EDIT: I should mention that I tried Reseating it after it wouldn't work

How would I get to the BIOS?
I am kinda new at this so if you could link me to something to walk me through that'd be great
And part of the problem is that Auto-detect can't find the Graphics card, so wouldn't that make the drivers useless?

They're in pretty tight and snug.

Btw. The power connectors sometimes is really bad, especially the molex: so even if one think the connector plug is in place - no - one of the connector female pins may have been pushed out a little bit by the corresponding male-connector pin (or vice versa), so make sure everything about this is really ok.

On your Motherboard there is a battery - remove it for a minute and put it back in place, that is how you reset motherboard BIOS.

Auto-detect can be playing with you, don't think about that too much, though it could be a sign for a driver problems so as i said, reinstall drivers if you didn't already.

What do you mean the next day it was using VGA and not HDMI? Did you just happen to have both plugged into different monitors, or did you try the HDMI, and upon failure, try the VGA and have success?

A lot of the stuff is not making sense. First you say, "The lights were on and every time i clicked the power button it would flash then disappear. " But then you say you tried uninstalling drivers. How can you uninstall drivers if you can't even turn on your computer? What are these "lights" you speak of?

I'm not completely sure about the monitor thing. I think it was using HDMI, just because it looked wierd when it said VGA.

And It didn't work for one day, the next day it did, I don't know why...

What cable do you actually have plugged in though?? Do you have HDMI in right now or VGA?

I have the same one plugged in as last time, so I don't know why its VGA and not HDMI

I don't know what you mean. The physical cable. The thing that you hold in your hand. Is it a VGA cable or an HDMI cable?

That and I need my Graphics Card to get back to working

Also I just put my Cable in all the spots yet it never connected to HDMI, so I'm just so confused
