Hey, I accidentally deleted my Realtek ethernet controller driver for my on board networking card, so in order to get it back I've tried downloading the exact drivers from my phone and put them onto my computer. Unluckily in the process of trying to install many drivers all of the errors said the same thing. The ethernet controller was not found, if the computer is on deep sleep, please plug in cord. I tried lots of things. Atleast 8 hours of things. Not only that but my computer will not reset to factory settings or load a restore point. And I ensured the I have administration permissions. So I've pretty much thought why not just post this myself instead of looking up a solution. At this point I feel like my problem is un-repairable.

1| Is it possible to pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS?

2| Are you able to see if your BIOS is up to date? If not up to date please flash it to the latest.

3| I experienced a near similar issue where the Realtek NIC wasn't registering in Device manager(regardless of the drivers) which at that point should show up as a device with a yellow exclamation mark. I also found the same to happen on an Intel board with an Intel NIC. End conclusion from a weeks worth of toiling on each system lead to me say, it R.I.P'd.

If your USB ports are available and you have wireless internet connectivity, why not install a wireless adapter and go WiFi?
