I recently purchased a 1060 Nvidia graphics card from MSI.
Before installing we removed excess dust with a brush (had a wooden handle, so it's not static shock)
We attempted to install the graphics card and boot the computer, it started to boot up normally and started loading screen after screen. After about 40 seconds it went to a screen with the Windows 10 Logo on it, and it said 'Diagnosing your PC'. It did this for 10-20 seconds and then went to black. Immediately after going to black (the actual hardware had not even shut off) it went back to the start of the boot, and this is where the loop begins.
We've tried to reinstall the old graphics card back into the computer and the same boot loop came back up. We've tried booting from USB, updating BIOS (unsuccessful, didn't recognise USB OR disc as a drive), resetting CMOS battery, and many other methods, all to no avail.
Also we've tried to boot in safe mode but couldn't find it (Windows 10 has a wierd menu on it and we didnt end up finding safe mode anywhere, and it wasnt in boot settings or BIOS screen or anything like that)
Also we were wondering if it has something to do with the power supply, the 1060 only has one connector whereas the other graphics card had two.
Also I should mention we forgot to uninstall the previous graphics card's drivers.
I remember it was around a 560 or 580 Nvidia.
