I have a few questions regarding my 4690k OC.

I'm running a 212 EVO cooler, my overclock is at 4.2ghz @ 1.175 core voltage ( HWMonitor shows core voltage at 1.161 ) Ambient temp of 72 degrees. Idle temp of 28-32 degrees.

Question #1 - is it normal for monitor software and BIOS to show different voltages, and which is more accurate?

Question #2 - which PRIME95 version should I be using? I get temps of around 70-75 on prime95 version 28.something (can't remember, just deleted it) and I'm getting 55-58 degrees with version 26.6. My CPU fan is on manual at 100%

Assuming you are using the adaptive voltage option then yes, its very normal to see different voltages either a bit lower or a bit higher, but as long as you are stable you should not worry about it.

You should be using Prime 95 version 26.6 you can download it from here http://windows-downloads-center.blogspot.com/2011/04/prime95-266.html any later version than that uses AVX testing which adds about 110% workload which cause for insane temperatures.

Although 70-75c under prime95 version 28 is impressive. Test using 26.6 you should get a realistic idea of 100% temperatures and give you an idea of how stable your processor is.
