Is this CPU bundle worth getting for a mid-range PC build?

Hey,

I just saw a bundle over at a site called PC Case Gear, and it included a Intel Xeon E3 1230 V5 , a MSI Xeon E3 Krait Gaming V5 motherboard, and Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB (2x8GB) 2133MHz ram in it. You can see it here:

https://www.pccasegear.com/products/35929/pccg-xeon-v5-gaming-bundle/

I was just wondering is this a good deal at $599aud, and more importantly is it worth buying if I were to say put a RX 480 8gb in my build. I was originally just going to put an i5-6500 in it.

Thanks

The CPU, motherboard and RAM are (Obviously) all compatible, and this would not exactly be a mid-range build, it would be closer to the high-end build. The E3 1230 V5 was released less than a year ago, and the price is still, quite up there. This bundle would probably be worth the money you spend, and the RX 480 would go along with it really nicely. And you would save a little bit of money purchasing this bundle.

So if you're willing to purchase this bundle, then go ahead, as it is quite a good choice in my opinion.

Thanks guys for the quick response. I also thought that it is kind of future proofed, as I could upgrade the GPU in the future and not worry about bottle necking. So I'm going to go ahead and buy it.

Thanks again.
