Hi guys , i have a problem with my GTX 690, after replacing the old HD RADEON 7970, the problem is very wierd and i don't know what cause this problem and why the gtx690 act very strange.
My specs are:
Windows 10 Pro x64
Cpu: i3 560 OC 4.5Ghz stable tested runing 24/24 daily use.
Ram: 16Gb Crucial Balistix
Mobo: Gygabyte GA-P55UD4 last bios
HDD SSD:128GB AMD Radeon
HDD : 1TB WD SATA2
PSU: 1000W Cooler master silent pro gold 80+
Display LG 23" Full HD
GPU: GTX 690 using display port with adapter to hdmi to one monitor LG 23" 1920x1080 full hd monitor.
The problem is when i run heaven 4.0 benchmark on extreme, my score go up and then go down after a while,.. from a unknown reason, frist run was with driver 368.81 i get around 1443 -1436 a very low score for this video card, after some tests in firestrike i got 3111 a low score, also in metro last night benchmark, 28-32fps on extreme, i try to reinstall the driver again clean, the problem persist the score will not rise up more than 1435 and in some cases 1445..i turned off the pc and going to work.
After some hours i came home and turned the computer on again, i wait till windows updates were instaled, then i try to run again heaven 4.0 and surprise the score go 1690 (still a low score) ....i was like wtf is going on, i try firestrike on extreme the score was 5145 and metro last night benchmark going around 58fps all on extreme oO..
I know the cpu is old and, bottle the card, but 4.5ghz is ok in my opinion to run this card with one single monitor on 1920x1080 and get decent scores around 17xx heaven and in firestrike 53xx.
So.. i shut down the computer again because i was going to gym and when i came back, try again the test after 2 hours, score going back to 1435 - 1444 and won't go up even after shot down again the computer..... firestrike score 3155- 3110-3115...also low scores in metro and firestrike ....wtf is going on guys???!!!!!
I try to reinstall again windows 10, i put the 368.81 driver, i run again the benchmark and same story the score in heaven was 1434 and firestrike 3125.
I start again my score will not go up than 1443-1434 ,both gpu are working at the same time also the vram, SLI is on, vsync in off, i set from nvidia control panel to maximum performance and single monitor , temperatures are around 77-82 full load.
Thinking is a driver problem i revert to an old one driver 352.63 BETA, after clean install i run heaven again and get around 1680 score also in firestrike 4985...so i let this beta driver installed, i run fine the benchmarks about 2 hours then for some reason the problem apeared again.....
I shut down the computer and go out with friends, after came back i turn the computer on and uninstal the 352.63 old beta driver, and instaled the aniversary win10 last driver and still problem persist, heaven 1445 and firestrike 3200, i try to run metro last night bench and low fps again
After a while turned on the computer and run the benchmarks again, scores go up in heaven 1709 also in the rest of the test nice scores, but after a time the card just go back at the low scores again.
I try to play last HITMAN ..unplayable... even with low settings game loads masive something from hdd i duno what, and get 2-3fps, when i look down the fps go around 15-18-23, both gpu are working at same freq also the vram, sli is on vsync is off, maximum performance is on, single monitor is on., gpu temps are 78-81.
PS: I see the game runs ok when i get in heaven 1709 score, but when the performance lose apear the game is unplayable.
So guys what in the hell is going on!!? because i will go crazy...i dunno what to do next..please help
