I have an Asus x99 Deluxe II motherboard and an Intel 6800k processor. Now I want to buy a BeQuiet or similar air cooler and four sticks quad ddr4 memory. I will be overclocking the cpu but not the 2400MHz memory.
All ddr4 2400MHz memory, that I can find, come with high heatsinks. I would like to be able to remove a memory module from any slot without having to remove the cpu cooler.
Knowing the height of a memory module does not help with knowing if it can be removed without removing the cpu cooler. I do not want to strip the heatsinks from the modules.
Can someone please advise me?
